Wrexham’s new-look Mobile Library

July 1, 2014

The Wrexham Mobile Library had a makeover and is looking fantastic – it now promotes two of the great online services that Welsh Libraries offer across Wales – e-books and e-zines and they are all for FREE.

The FREE e-zines service has over 250 top titles.  There really is something for everyone from sports to fashion; country living to business; tattoos to knitting!  Titles include: Cycling Weekly, Horse & Hound, Golf Monthly, Homes & Gardens, Knitter, Marie Claire, Men’s Fitness, Mountain Biking UK, Rugby World, Total Film, Woman & Home, World Soccer and many, many more.  To access this amazing service you just need to be a member of a library in Wales, you can download as many magazines as you wish 24/7, access back issues and keep them on your device for as long as you wish.

Libraries across Wales also offer free e-books with over 14,000 titles available to download.  Whether you like to read novels or biographies, real life stories; travel guides or even the recently added Mills & Boon romances – there really is something for everyone with the free e-books service!

Libraries Inspire marketing officer, Jane Purdie said: “This service has been running for over two years now and is proving extremely popular with well over 100,000 issues to date. The fact that the books and magazines are free is a real bonus in the current times.’’

Libraries are free to join with thousands of free books to borrow including the latest bestsellers, audio books and e-audio books, free internet access in all libraries with free Wi-Fi in many of them and lots of great events, classes and activities.
